The Wrate Block
The Wrate Block, Home to Flagstone Pub and The Little Owl, was built in 1853. The building is a Historical Landmark, located at the Corner of State Route 38 and State Route 31 in Downtown Geneva, Illinois.
The Wrate Block has been home to many things over the years. Some of the more interesting residents were Geneva’s First Post Office, and a Dance Hall. The Outdoorsman Sporting Goods Store, The Birds’ Nest, and Bark at the Moon Music store have also been in the retail space that is now Flagstone Pub. Because the Little Owl has been in the building for so long, it is now also known as “The Little Owl Building”.
